Hi-Rez has presented a new game mode for SMITE. This new mode, Domination, has been presented on a new Egypt themed map and is based on "capture and hold" several important points in 5 versus 5 matches. A team must hold at least 2 out of the 3 points in order to decrease points from enemy team.



In addition the patch, brings a banning functionality for the top ranked player in each team allowing them to ban their opponents from selecting a specific god, and a free god rotation. In addition to the 5 gods that are permanently available for free, Hi-Rez will have 5 additional gods in rotation which gives players the chance to check out a greater variety of gods.
