We took the 7th anniversary since Ikariam's release as an opportunity to have a first glimpse at this real-time strategy city-building game set in ancient Greece. The free-to-play browser-based title makes players the ruler of their own town (called polis by the Greek) as they manage their resources, cooperate with cities in their neighbourhood to conduct trade and finally also do battle with other players.

The publisher was kind enough as to provide us with an account containing some Ambrosia premium currency to allow for checking out what was offered in the shop, as well as a completely developed city in order to let us have a look at the later game features.
