K.O.S – Secret Operations is a free-to-play multiplayer online first person shooter (FPS). The game comes bundled with Xfire™, enabling players to easily communicate with each other via voice chat during game play, along with other unique features such as live stream video, one click screen capture, and community page access
FEATURES
- Outfit your character with different weapons, uniforms and special abilities.
- Create clans with friends to test your skills against other clans.
- Compare yourself and your clan to other using our ranking system.
- use Medpacks, decrease your respawn time and even track your enemy with an assorted listt of special skills and abilities.
- Earn extra experience and crones through the multikill system by getting up to 10 kills in a row.
- Play against artificially intelligent KOSbots.
- Enter Pro Mode and put your (in game) money where your mouth is.
MODES
- Destroy or be destroyed!; Teams will either try to destroy the bombsite by planting c$ at the specified areas or defend the site by making sure the enemy does not plant the bomb.
- Defeat the enemy!; Teams will battle it out for up to 30 minutes to get the most points. Points are earned by killing an enemy.
CHARACTERS
- South korea, division 707; specializated en firing from long distances, these snipers look to kill with just one shot.
- North Korea, Division Ministry of people's armed forces; trained in using deadly assault rifles, these soldiers can pick apart enemies from distance or close up.
- Russia, division vympel; Using the advantages of high powered machine guns enables the vympel to cout down their opponents.
- United States, division green beret; trained to use more than firearms, green berets are skilled with their grenades and knives.
- Japan, division S.A.T.; the S.A.T. specialize in combat far away or close up, possessing skill with both rifles and pistols.
- Taiwan, division military police; the military police are trained to be up close and personal and choose shotguns to be their primary weapons.

K.O.S. is the best free-to-play FPS I’ve played yet, and I’ve tried them all. Counterstrike is king, and K.O.S. uses the same game engine. It’s better than Combat Arms and A.V.A., which are the 2 I’ve held to be top before K.O.S. came along. The community is also good, with GMs and staff interacting closely with the players. So far I’ve been very impressed. I’m looking forward to see how the tournaments are structured.
