R2Games has only just revealed Kingdom Rift, their newest browser MMO that is slated to enter public alpha testing today at 09:00 a.m. PDT. The 7-day alpha test is supposed to gather player feedback in order to further fine-tune the gaming experience. When the alpha phase is over, all server data will be wiped in order to prepare for the open beta testing.

In Kingdom Rift enables players to take on the role of one of 3 different classes: Warlock, Hunter or Warrior to travel the expansive game world and unfold a dark storyline during which they will battle alongside goddesses as well as other players. The action-oriented real-time combat focuses on player skill and positioning.

Kingdom Rift will feature a comprehensive player item trading system, multi-stage PvE systems, including tiered dungeons and horde modes as well as goddess companions with unique upgradeable artefact equipment. Active player abilities will focus on skill and reflexes.
