Kritika Online Launching in 2017
En Masse Entertainment today announced that they will be bringing the stylish action MMORPG Kritika Online to North America and Europe beginning in Q2 of this year. Created by Korean developer ALLM, Kritika Online is an action-heavy experience built around questing and explosive combat, featuring a highly unique set of characters. Kritika Online will enter closed beta testing this spring before fully releasing later this year.
Featuring a unique cel-shaded art style, over-the-top animations, and a fast-paced combo system that turns the MMO genre on its head, Kritika Online provides fans of MMORPGs with a unique pick-up-and-play experience, with intense, fast-paced gaming sessions punctuated by high-flying action in a unique gaming universe. Players will choose from four different character classes, and upgrade attacks and spells to generate the biggest, baddest, most butt-kickingest player character possible.
“En Masse Entertainment is thrilled to partner with talented developers like ALLM to help them share their vision with our players,” said Sam Kim, CEO of En Masse Entertainment. “We are proud to be bringing the original world of Kritika Online to MMORPG fans in North America and Europe in 2017. The addition of Kritika Online will complement our diverse portfolio of PC games including flagship MMORPG TERA and team-based first-person-shooter AVA.”
“We’re delighted to work with En Masse Entertainment and bring Kritika Online to players in North America and Europe,” said ALLM’s CEO Jong-Myoung Lee. “We’re excited to build a partnership beyond just a developer and publisher relationship, and I expect we will find great synergy combining our expertise.”
Kritika Online is designed to get players in and out of the action as quickly as possible, without all the filler and downtime of other MMOs. The player embarks from shared hubs to instanced “questing” zones, which end with an epic boss battle. Players can take on these bosses alone or team up with other players to take them down. Once you’ve mastered the PvE combat, the game also has PvP arenas to test your skills against other players.
En Masse Entertainment will publish Kritika Online in North America and Europe on PC. More details on the game’s beta and launch plans will arrive in the coming weeks.
