NCsoft has announced the second anniversary of Aion. To celebrate this special occasion, NCsoft has organized daily events and special activities, including double XP and double loots. In addition to these celebrations in the game, NCsoft also will present the new player versus player update, 2.7, available on the Public Test Server on October 13th and in the game the October 19th.

Players can participate in the Festival of the Ascension, one of the many daily activities scheduled during the ten-day celebration of the anniversary. And for players who want to return to the game, Aion has organized a celebration of special revival shall run from September 22 at 17:00 until October 2, 2011 to 17:00 in which there will be a lots of surprises and rewards for all participants.

In addition to these activities within the game, NCsoft has also announced details of the next update 2.7. With this update, players will soon realize that they need to achieve perfection to come through the two new PvP zones, known collectively as the Crucible Coliseum, which was to bring a new player vs. player combat in Atreia. The first zone, called the Arena of Discipline, deathmatches host one on one between Daevas, for its part, the Arena of Chaos will allow all who seek the glory Daevas face each other in large scale battles. Additionally, the update 2.7 also includes an epic battle of 40 people in the private map Padmarashka's Cave where the brave shall deal against a boss as well as new armor and weapon sets.
