ZeniMax Online has unveiled new details about the next major update for The Elder Scrolls Online, Homestead. This content update will introduce player-owned customizable houses. Players will be able to acquire nearly 40 different homes and craft or buy more than 2,000 decor items.

Players will get to choose between different dwellings, varying from small ones (such as a room in an inn) to huge manors with outdoor areas. Homes will be located in base zones, and players will be able to visit and buy them. It will be possible to own multiple homes, and these homes will be account-based.

The update will feature more than 2,000 items to customize homes, including furniture and decorating items, like paintings, books or trees. Those who have collected trophies, will be able to place them in their homes too.

Homes will be available for purchase either with Crowns (premium currency) and in-game gold. The game will feature some crown-exclusive houses.
