The relaunch of Otherland is nearly complete, since the game has started today its closed beta. Some lucky players will enjoy the completely redone cyber universe, and will explore the new worlds for the first time. This beta also comes with a new trailer that you can see below.

"After one year of hard work we can’t wait to give invited players a first glimpse of the re-worked Otherland", comments Lucjan Mikociak, CEO of DRAGO Entertainment. "But make no mistake: This is the first CBT since we took over the project and we fully expect players to break things – so we can identify the issues and fix them."

A year after the transition of the project from the deceased RealU Studio to the developer DRAGO Entertainment, a few lucky players will be invited to take a look into the Action MMORPG based on Tadd Williams’ bestseller novels.

The closed beta introduces 5 new worlds, a new history with 400 missions, improvements in the combat system with new abilities and effects, changes in the party system, a new chat system, group dungeons, numerous new weapons and items and new cinematics.
