After a very extended beta, Red 5 Studios has announced the launch date of its anticipated open-world MMO shooter Firefall, which will be released officially on July 29 along  with two new continents full of content and multiple story-driven instances. This dynamic title that takes place in a dynamic open-world and offers dynamic and fast-paced combats, action-packed missions and quests, and a beautiful, vibrant world.

“We designed a game with an extremely passionate and talented team,” said James Macauley, CEO of Red 5 Studios. “But Firefall wasn’t complete until we were able to incorporate the invaluable feedback from our enthusiastic community during the beta period. Firefall is as much their game as it is ours.”

The game is Free-to-play, although you can buy with real money cosmetic and convenience upgrades. In addition during the launch you can buy several Launch Packs that include exclusive items, as multiplayer vehicles, the digital soundtrack and a concept art-book.

Firefall features campaign missions, exciting quests and dynamic events which are happening constantly around the world, with which players can enjoy new experiences at any time. Players will also explore the huge open-world, from the area of New Eden  to Devil’s Tusk, which is in constant change due  unique dynamic events that affect the world, such as melding-fueled tornadoes, crystite meteor showers and Chosen incursions. In addition to all the PvE game content, Firefall also boasts a huge open continent dedicated to PvP in which players can test their shooting skills and tactical abilities against other players to control outposts and resources in this hostile environment.

“The update we are releasing for launch will be the largest update we have ever had,” said Macauley. “It will quadruple the amount of world space in Firefall and add roughly 15-times the amount of content we have had previously in Beta.”
