The six days of Rift Open Beta starts today at 17:00 hours with a starting gun ... or tweet. When players enter in Rift this week, they find a new feature in the game that lets you update your Twitter directly from the beleaguered world of Telara. Players can share screenshots, brag about their latest achievements, or simply keep up to date with their friends in our developments, all from the game chat window.

Send Tweets from Telara cannot be easier. After log onto your Twitter account in the Options menu of the game, players only need to type "/ tweet"before any text in the chat, and that update your Twitter. The achievements can create Tweets automatically, but even this option can be modified in the Game Options menu.

This new feature will be activated with the start of Open Beta that can be enjoyed between 15 and 21 Feb.
