Hi-Rez Studios have just announced the beginning of closed beta testing of SMITE on Xbox One. After being in alpha since March, the first MOBA title coming to Xbox One has received multiple updates as well as new features. The company also released a brand-new trailer in this context, which presents what Xbox users may expect.

Hi-Rez Studios is offering PC players a one-time account merge option to take over select progress and items from their SMITE PC accounts to their Xbox One accounts. Those opting for linking their accounts will receive a free Zeus Xbox skin for both platforms.

Moreover, the in-game marketplace is now live on Xbox One, enabling players to the regular in-game currency in the form of gems that can be used to acquire new Gods, skins and more.

There are furthermore Founder’s Packs available for a limited period of time, the purchase of which provides customers with immediate access to the CBT, each currently available god and all future additions, as well as 400 gems and 2 exclusive skins.
