Aeria Games has presented the details of the Challenge and weapon upgrade systems of its next MMOFPS Soldier Front 2. The Challenge system sets many milestones as goals for players to work towards as they gun down opponents. These challenges vary greatly, ranging from simply playing for a certain number of hours to scoring a casualties by shots in the head.

Each completed challenge unlocks a modified version of a particular weapon, which can be purchased with points earned in matches. Each new version will not replace the old ones, and players can use them at will, and can can freely switch between them according to their style of play.
