Star Trek Online announced a couple of months ago its eleventh season: New Dawn, and today has announced its official launch date: October 27. This expansion has added to the game a new story arc, a new reputation system and the new Admiralty system which will allow us to send our ships to the challenging missions to get valuable assets.

This season begins where The Iconian War ended; the war has come to an end in the Mirror Universe, and the Terran Empire under the leadership of the mirror universe version of Admiral Leeta has invaded the Badlands and now claims the control of the Galaxy. Players will now have to defend the Galaxy from the armies of the Mirror Universe.

This expansion also adds a new planet inhabited by a new civilization of bipedal humanoids, and presents a mysterious time traveler. Each faction, United Federation of Planets and the Klingon Empire, will have its own PvE campaign.
