SYNOPSIS
The Hobbit: Armies of the Third Age is a free-to-play browser-based real time strategy online game based on the popular The Hobbit trilogy. Players we will be able to partner with thousands of players online to crush their enemies and defend their realm.
STORY BACKGROUND
Set in the Middle-earth, the game revolves around the chaos and turmoil among three races warring to defend and expand their kingdoms. Players will control armies of Dwarves, Elves, or Orcs and play characters such as Bilbo Baggins and Gandalf.

They will build and command powerful armies to create their own kingdom within Middle-earth and defend them against brutal assaults.
RACES
Players can choose from 3 races; Dwarves, Elves, and Orcs and command unique units that they will need to use with great strategy to gain the upper hand in the battles.

Stay away from game. It is still in BETA after 6+ months. There are many of the same persistent issues that developers are aware of but have not fixed. Kabam has no problem taking money but many problems addressing the issues. Mystery boxes are a scam that next to never yield anything. There are a few hacks and cheaters on to create extra issues. Until Kabam stops worrying about just making money and puts more care into its product find another game.
Its a fine game but not a fair one. If you do not have real money to spend then you will never be powerful. It seems that needed building to get the best troops require items you have to spend real money on from their shop. There seems to be no way to get the items for free. So basically you are stuck with troops that will be destroyed by people with money to burn. So basically its only a game for people that want to spend real money.
— I have played it for a couple of months and after all of the building I thought I was about to get a building needed to the level for a good set of troops and then it told me I needed items from the shop to complete.
–Also there is no alliance interaction options so that is another waste of time.
My thought is if you want a fair actual free game to play find another game to play and don’t waste months of time here.
