With the launch of Season 10 for Star Trek Online next Tuesday, 04/21/2015, Robert McNeill will join the game, once again filling his iconic role as Tom Paris from Star Trek: Voyager. This carries on the trend of major cast members from the TV series making their debut in the MMO.

Titled "The Iconian War", Season 10 revolves around the ancient race of the Iconians, who passed a long time dormant waiting for their time to come in order to take of the control of the entire universe. This is the beginning of the culmination of a conflict that has been smouldering in Star Trek Online for over five years.

Apart from the new lore, STO will moreover be updated with an overhaul of sector space, which allows navigating the Alpha, Beta and Delta Quadrants uninhibited. Players will also be able to participate in additional queues and develop their pilot specialisation further as it moves from a secondary to primary specialisation.
