Today, we want to bring you this selection of the 10 best free-to-play shooter MMOs that most caught our attention in April 2014. In comparison to last month, the attentive reader will notice quite a few changes: Blacklight Retribution and S.K.I.L.L. - Special Force 2 exchange their positions while Warface and Firefall remain on their ranks. Heroes and Generals, Loadout and Planetside 2 fall back behind, giving way to this month's climbers, Dust 517 and Hawken, and our new No.1!
As we don't want to reveal any more details, you will have to take a look for youself to find out their individual ranking and discover which shooter has reached the very top in April 2014.

5 - Dust 514
DUST 514 brings intense infantry combat, large-scale warfare, and deep character advancement to a free-to-play MMOFPS, exclusively playable on the PlayStation 3. Players wage war in a next-generation FPS, where a single victory could prove the crushing blow to a galactic empire of thousands of online EVE Online gamers.
4 - FireFall
Firefall is a free-to-play sci-fi MMO fast-paced shooter set in a future Earth where players must band together. Uniting in the form of armies, they will need to collect resources to craft weapons and vehicles to fight back the apocalyptic threat of the Chosen invasion.
3 - Hawken
Hawken is a free-to-play online multiplayer mech-based first-person shooter that puts players in the pilot seat of a giant robotic war machine.
