As another year draws to a close we take a look back over the free to play MMOs that have graced our website this year and have put together another list that we think makes up the best of the bunch. Whether they're new contenders on the scene or just those old dogs that wont give up the fight, here's our Best MMOs List of 2013.

10 - Lineage II
Lineage 2 is one of the oldest MMORPGs still on the market, surprisingly it still feels extremely current, which might be to do with the constant updates and content added into the game, not to mention the graphical tweaks so it doesn’t look dated. With over 30 main classes in the game and various stages of class progression as you level, advancement keeps your gameplay fresh as you play through 90 levels of lore packed adventure.
9 - Pirate Storm
Pirate Storm is a free to play, browser-based, MMO game set in the era of pirates. Also playable through Facebook, alone or with other pirates in their guild, players must face monsters from the darkest depths of the ocean and greedy, enemy pirates.

8 - FireFall
Firefall is a free-to-play sci-fi MMO fast-paced shooter set in a future Earth where players must band together. Uniting in the form of armies, they will need to collect resources to craft weapons and vehicles to fight back the apocalyptic threat of the Chosen invasion.

7 - Neverwinter

Aion is a recently converted to free to play massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG). The game combines PvP and PvE (a concept the developers call PvPvE) in a fantasy game environment.

The Exiled Realm of Arborea (abbreviated as TERA) is a free to play 3D fantasy MMORPG with visually stunning graphics quality and a very intense and rewarding combat where skill, position, timing and aim determine success in combat. Players can use a controller or a keyboard and mouse, and they have full control over the attacks. Also, TERA is set in a world where the players dictate the flow of the economy and individually impact the community environment.
