The first part of Valencia expansion will arrive in Black Desert on June 1st. The MMORPG will receive a major content update that increases the size of the world by an additional 30%, and introduces new mounts, hundreds of new quests, new weapons, new armors, improvements to the enhanced system (players will be able to enchant their gear up to +20), and new crafting recipes.

Valencia takes players to a vast desert region with a new weather effect (sandstorm) that inflicts damage to players unless they protect theirselves. It brings to the game camels to traverse the desert and a war mount: elephants.

Futhermore, the long-awaited Node War and Castle sieges will begin on June 15. There will be a two week trial period so players can familiarize con the PvP mechanics.
