En Masse Entertainment has announced that closed beta testing of their upcoming shooter Zombies Monsters Robots (ZMR) - known in Europe as Hazard Ops - is scheduled to start in May. They also released a new gameplay trailer and some screenshots.

Closed beta participants will get a taste of the huge amount of modes, maps, enemies and bosses the MMO is supposed to offer at launch. Those signing up for beta also enter for a chance to win a First Blood Pack, which contains an exclusive set of in-game founder's items.

And these are the ZMR game modes testers will have access to during closed beta:

- Kill Every Thing where they have to put down wave after wave of undead horrors.
- Assault in which they will meet the attacking alien Dominion head-on to shut them down.
- PvP, a head-to-head shootout between rival mercs.
